I am not familiar with the "Total" Lab results, we tend to rely on Free, but as both your T3 and T4 levels are high and the TSH is low, in addition your TPOab is High, this would indicate an auto immune thyroid disease known as Graves, this condition causes your immune system to attack the thyroid and then the thyroid over produces the T4 hormone that your body runs on, it increases you body's metabolism. Some symptoms include Tachycardia (Fast Heart Rate) edgy nervious feelings, anxiety, lower body weight than normal. and several others, medication is available to supress the thyroids production of the T4 hormone. In severe cases the MD would have the thyroid removed or treated with a treatment called RAI, in which a capsule would be taken and with radium, the throid would be destroyed, then you would just take a replace ment thyroid hormone every day. Your condition is called Hyperthyroid. Best Regards FTB4
Your total T3 and total T4 are very high, and your TSH is low, indicating hyperthyroidism. Your doctor really should be ordering FREE T3 and FREE T4 since they provide a lot more information than totals.
TPOab is elevated. That's usually indicative of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I'd ask my doctor to test TSI (thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin). That's the definitive test for Graves' Disease. You could be in a hyper phase of Hashi's (swings from hypo to hyper are not unusual in early stages...it becomes exclusively hypo later). However, I think you need to rule out Graves'. Although quite rare, you can have both Hashi's and Graves'.
How do you feel? Do you have hyper symptoms? Rapid HR and/or elevated BP? Weight loss? Diarrhea? Insomnia? Intolerance to heat?
