thyroid test results
TSH (0.4-5.5) my reading is 8.5, I have been checked for cancer the ,Dr.says I am cancer free.I am on cytomel.50 mcg tablet,when i started taking medication my weight was 136 lb ,in one year I have lost down to 119.lb.i have stoped taking the meds at times and i gain weight. I am at my wits end what should I do iget so tired and weak when i take the med.I also take amitriptyline 50 mg(FF),omeprazole 20 mg cap(FF),metoclopramide 10 MG (FF),could one of these medicens cause me to have a false reading.
By the looks of your TSH level, you should have taken a t4 supplement along with the cytomel. Cytomel does not have t4 in it.
You should have had the FT-3 done beings cytomel is t3 and hardly effects the TSH. Also should have done FT-4 to check for conversion problem. All three done at the same blood draw would give a better thyroid status.

are you on thyriod med...8.5 is hypo....an meds can do so muc ..side affects....
