thyroid

i am not getting my periods from last 2 months and the last date of first day was 9th july 2010. till today i am not getting periods. i tested once pregnancy test at home but it was negative. i took a thyroid test in april which was 6 in range but my doc said no need to have medicine . and also my periods was regular . but now i m not having my periods from last 2 months . my gyni doc said wait for one more week . can it be  increase in throid range .

kindly help .

..... and it would effect your periods of you are hypothyroid.

With HypoT - estrogen dominance can occur stopping the periods and damaging your female cycle.

you say = "6 in range" - which I can only assume you are referring to a TSH test.

First this is not in range. The "range" of TSH is now .3-3.0 - which means you are DOUBLE over the scales.

If this is accurrate and you have had the TSH as the ONLY indictor of anything going on then a definately HypOthyroidism detection should have been made.
