I looked back at some of your old posts and I don't see any recent thyroid test results. Can you post your most recent results, along with lab ranges, so we can take a look at them.
Anxiety can be a symptom of either hyper or hypo, so without current labs, it's hard to say.
What doses are your medications?
ANxiety is one of the symptoms that cross over both Hypo as well as Hyper.
Your high body temp would indicate to me that you may be over medicated and are trending into hyper land.
Please get blood labs done and make absolutely sure that you get the Free T4 and Free T3 tests done.
ABSOLUTELY do NOT rely solely on TSH. TSH is NOT sufficient to tweak medicine dosage.
I too have issues with anxiety and agitation after a partial removal of my thyroid. I have been to my doc many time for this and the palpitations that I have, but no relief. They just like to throw drugs at everything and don't really check for anything going on. So I just make sure that I have my Xanax on deck for when I start having those irrational and fearful moments.
Its always best to follow the dose per the manufacture, however, with all magnesium you will learn what your maximum dose is by, ........well, how you 'eliminate'.
KAL brand magnessium glycinate says 400mg (two tabs) daily. Most like mag citrate, I find glycinate to be more relaxing for sleep and soothing muscle aches. There is also the powdered (tastes good) CALM brand and a few others that you mix with water. Most mag at drug stores is mag oxide (per the back label) - it does nothing.
Thank you for your reponse. I will def. look into this. What would a good dose of magnesium be?
First step - What are your thyroid levels? Being even slightly hypo can result in anxiety.
Then, part of the answer: Magnesium
Read up on it. Stop the thyroid Maddness site has info on this. Any magnesium but magnesium oxide works well for muscle pains and anxiety. TThe down side must be 4 hrs appart from thyroid meds.
Other supps for this go to complimentary medicine forum for info.
Lastly, you could have adrenal insufficiency - it happens when the thyroid is stressed. Saliva test from a natural medicine doc or chro will show this
Endos will know nothing about what is stated above.
