how can i tell the difference between synthroid brand and generic

hi there... the nurse explained to me that generic can have up to 10% error and brand name is almost 99% correct. I had my Thyroid removed 11/21/11 and have not been on anything yet. I go for the I131 tomorrow. I had pap/foll cancer  large tumor

Synthroid is identified as shown in this link.  Otherwise it is a generic.
