As alfonsina mentioned, we'd like to see your actual thyroid hormone levels. Be sure to include reference ranges, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
If you aren't have regular periods, it's going to be difficult to get pregnant. This could be because your thyroid levels are not adjusted properly for you.
You said you are on 150 mg a day of your tablets. Are you referring to thyroid hormone tablets? If so, do you mean 150 mcg, rather than mg? What medication are you on and how long have you been on it.
If you get pregnant without having adequate thyroid hormones, you run the risk of having a miscarriage. Additionally, adequate thyroid hormones are critical to the growth and development of a fetus, which relies on the mother until its own thyroid develops.
We'll be able to give you a better assessment of your situation, once we see your labs.
A lot of people on this forum would like to see your test results (TSH, FT3, FT4, antibodies, etc) to comment more accurately, so if you can post them, that would be great.
I understand that for someone your age, a year of waiting is good enough to start seeing an specialist (over age 40 you should see an specialist or get treatment after only three months of TTC, I have being told by OBs), I mean a doctor who can run tests for you and your partner to find what would be the reason you are not getting pregnant. Being hypo could be one reason, but it could be others...
How long have you been in treatment? if you got your period only recently maybe your body is responding to the meds. But thyroid replacement medicine might take some time to act in your body, in my experience, you will see some changes faster than others.
