sick in thailand

hey i am a 22 yr old male from australia and i have been in thailand 4 days.
A week before i left for my trip i had just got over the flu and still had a persistant cough. On the 3rd day of my trip when i woke up i had very slight tremors in my hand and my face felt hot. I thought it was prob just a hangover and maybe dhydration, so i have been drinking more water. On the fourth morning i felt very fatigued my face was still hot and i had some chills, my face felt hot and i was tired all day. Later that night i had been drinking a little but i wasnt at all drunk and i got i lift in a taxi a bit down the road my cough from the flue came back and i coughed  until i threw up for the next 5 mins. I now feel very tired the next morning, and i still get hot in the face, chills and tremors. I havent had any diarreah(sorry about the spelling). I would just like to know wat this could be and wat i should do.

sorry my reply was a little late as i am not in contact with a computer much at the moment, i felt much better for a week and now i feel hot in the face again? My face isnt numb it feels abit like its "flushing" with heat. I dont believe i had any raw meat just hotel food and airplane food. I also have a residue cough from the flu from about 2 weeks ago, could it have anything to do with that? Could it just have been the humidity and stress now? Could the water have caused this?

Hello,

How are you feeling now?

Does one side of your face feel "numb" or does one side of your facial muscles look like they are not contracting?

If the feeling that you are experience is a sensation of "warmth", it may be facial "flushing" that could be associated with a fever. A fever from an infection of some type could be also causing the fatigue symptoms that you describe.

I am not sure what to make of the "tremors" that you describe. It is possible that dehydration after a night of consumption of alcohol might be related.

Have you been in contact with any animals (birds, raw poultry, raw fish)?

Please respond with additional questions.
