For the past few days I've felt ill, like the way I feel when I have a cold or the flu. I have the genral icky feeling of being sick, I feel achey all over, my skin hurts, my joints ache (that symptom is not unusual for me in my daily life but I thought I'd include it anyway), I've lost my appetite, I have a mild headache, and it feels like I have chills or at least a feeling of being cold like how it might be if I had a fever. Except I have no fever. My normal temperature ranges from 97.7 degrees to 98.4 when I'm feeling well, when I have a cold it raises to at least 98.8 but usually no higher than 100, and when I have the flu it can climb to a range of 100 all the way up to 104. My temperature tonight is 98.5 though four days ago it was 99 degrees, even though I didn't have any symptoms. I've felt extra weak and tired (I slept 17 hours today though that could be normal) and I wondered if I was dehydrated so I've kept myself SUER hydrated but that hasn't made me feel any better. My lymph nodes appear to be a little swollen and the circles under my eyes are darker than usual. When I get a cold or the flu I ALWAYS get a runny nose, sneeze, have a sore throat, I usually have a cough and a lot of congestion. And sometimes I get that even without a virus just due to bad allergies, but these last couple of days I haven't had ANY of those symptoms, not even allergies. My nose is perfectly clear. Just a note, it's summer break for me so I haven't been out much though I did see some friends (who were perfectly healthy) just at their houses on Wednesday and Saturday through Sunday afternoon. I don't think the time frames are correct for picking up a virus like a cold or flu, but maybe there's some other virus that would make sense. This same exact feeling happened once before, like a month ago, and it took almost a week to feel well again. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Or suggestions of how to feel better fast? Thank you in advance, I really appreciate you taking the time to put down your thoughts. =)
