5 months off Lexapro and Dr. wanted me to start back.

I stoped taking lexapro 5 months ago too fast and have been having lots of problems.  Four different wanted me to start back on it.  I took one half of a 10 and next morning worse depression that I ever had and so neverous.  Afraid to take any more so I didnt.  Since then so sick, very dizzy and neverous inside.  Also head feels heavy and out of it.  Dont feel normal and neck hurts very bad.  Have any of you had this problem.  I should not have listened to Doctors.

There is a test you can obtain that checks your dna to establish what kind of metabolizer of drugs you are. Most insurances cover it. They send the Dr's office a swab to obtain saliva, then test it with the drugs your taking. It will be on software for future use of any of your Dr's your entire life to give the doc an idea of what drugs will and wont work for you. It's called youScript. I would give you the number but I doon't think I'm supposed to do that or they will toss me from here. I used Lexapro for several years and was pretty manic like for about a year. It is not a drug for someone with anxiety unless the anxiety can be controlled. I was real happy unless someone made me mad, and I'd lose my temper real easily. Quit it after I told off a friend for something real unimportant........A psychiatrist knows more about the chemistry in your head, so I would find a good shrink, Nothing wrong with seeing one. it used to be a status symbol. LOL
