Feverish lips

My lips feel like they have a fever. My husband tell me they feel so hot to him as well. What could cause this? Drinking plenty of water does not make any difference and they are beginning to feel like this all the time.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Lips can feel hot due to inflammation, allergy, Vit B or iron deficiency, Sjogren’s syndrome, hyperthyroidism or due to a raised body temperature. It can also be due to dehydration.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Hope this helps. Take care!

Do you have any swelling in your lips?  There could be some sort of infection in your lips.  Is there any pain along with the feverish lips?  I would call your dr and see if they can check you out just to make sure nothing is wrong!  Good luck!
