Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Persistent headache after any type of head injury should definitely be investigated. It can just be a tender spot on the scalp. Another possibility is that you have mild traumatic brain injury or chronic subdural hematoma. In a chronic subdural collection, the problem is not discovered immediately as blood leaks from the veins slowly over time. The initial bleed is too small to give symptoms. The symptoms of chronic subdural hematoma begin several weeks after the initial bleeding.
I would strongly recommend you to consult a neurologist. Get a MRI and also get your blood pressure checked. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
It's impossible to say, but my guess is yes.
You need an MRI, because there is a possibility you had what is called a subdural hematoma, and there was bleeding. I would do so as soon as possible.
An MRI will determine positively whether or not there is physical damage due to the incident.
After you get the scan your physician will be able to provide direction.
