Overheated

I experience vertigo like symptoms when overheated, always brought on by excercise! terrible dizziness and nausea that lasts for hrs. I get very red flushed face, I was tested for vertigo and cardiac insufficiency and was told I had what was called a non headache migraine. I was prescribed topirmimate and took it for a couple of hrs however it did not really prevent. Went to a neurologist and was told it was an inability to regulate my body temperature.

What can I ask to be tested for as living with this is not much fun!

Have your heart checked with a stress test. Sounds like exercise induced asthma.

Some women experience these types of symptoms during perimenopause, the transition period before menopause. You did not say your age so don't know if this could apply to you or not.
