Always feeling sick

I used to always be really healthy all the way up to 2005. In 2005 I got a concussion and shortly after I broke my nose.  Ever since than I am always gettin sick. Some doctors thinks its my allergies but its all the time. Its not really runny nose or anything like that its mainly feeling really sick like Im going to puke and kind of dizzy like Im going to faint. Kind of like how you feel when your really hungry.  Its hard to explain its just an ugh feeling.  Also every time I eat something my stomach hurts and I have to go to the bathroom.  I have headaches alot also. I recently had to get a cortizone shot in my wrist because of tendenist because of when I used to cheer. But my family has some medical history. My dads a diabetic, and my mom and grandma have thyroid probelms. I was tested like a year ago for thyroid but never diabetes.  I just really hate the sick feeling all the time, any where I go I feel like Im gonna puke. Especially when I am riding in a car.  Its like really bad car sickness.

I have had some test done like MRI's & Catscans.   They didnt show anything wrong except the plate in the back of your skull i guess was pushed up more.  My mom thinks its just allergies because I have alot of allergies and it can make you feel sick and dizzy because of the whole inner ear thing but im not sure.

I have heard of people having problems after a concussion, so I definately would get yourself checked out, you could have damage to your head. I would also get your stomach checked, I have GERD (acid reflux disease) and it makes me feel constantly nauseaous and that 'hungry' feeling your tlking about, as well as my stomach aches pretty much 24/7, food usually hurts it more.  Are you having any other symptoms or are you on any medications? have you tried researching about concussions and your symptoms, I suggest you educate yourself so you know what to expect later on, and be persistent even if the tests come up fine, if you dont feel fine, dont stop looking for answers. Take care and good luck

Hello,

I was just thinking if you have ruled out pregnancy(if you are a female) as the cause of the continuous nausea. However, if it’s not the case, you should consult a gastroenterologist and may be you need an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to find out if there’s any pathology in the food pipe/stomach and an Ultrasound of the abdomen especially to rule out a disease of the gall bladder.

As you suffering from some headache also,it’s important to rule out a disease of the brain causing the nausea. The nausea and headache can also be related to the concussion that you have suffered.Did you get CT or MRI head after that concussion? If not I feel that you should consult a neurologist also.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted.

Kind regards.
