Annoyed and Scared

It doesn't even have to be for long, in pants or out of them, pj bottoms or jeans....whenever I lay on my left side, my leg goes numb. I get the tingling sensation rush back as though my leg was a sleep but only from my hip to half way down my thigh and only the other part of my leg.
I'm 25 - what could possibly be going on?

Thank you both.
I don't have a GP at present, but I'll certainly get to one as soon as I can.
Could the numbness also be paired with the horribly pinching feeling in the left side of my lower back do you think?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Tingling sensation is the first sign of a pinched nerve, in your case it is probably the sacral nerve roots and starting of sciatica.
Consult your GP and get a referral for a neurologist. Consult a chiropractor and see if this helps you.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

It may be something to do with a pinched nerve,or something similar.
But im not a doctor. so i would go see my gp, and he might organise a nerve conduction test, to see if anything is wrong.
Good luck
Nicola
