Thank you so much for your help and sharing your experience.
Hi there,
I completly sympathise with you, your MRI is very very similar to mine. So I will explain what mine means, in addition read my post on here in general and neurological catergory posted by melsywooh:
I had severe neurological symptoms amd a acute attack or something!
My first MRI brain scan without contrast revealed High signal intensity in the white matter in both frontal lobes and cerebellum, also my sinus was noted and slight vascular change, all non specific. Basically high signal intensity means abnormalities where bright spots/area/lesion was noted found on the mri, in your case it was found in the right lobe which is located at the front of the brain, like mine but mine was both sides. Vascular is to do with blood vessels, blood pressure the vessels walls etc.
I had no stroke nor was mine specific enough to indicate in any one direction. I was hypertensive which didn't actually affect my brain luckily. However 5 months on and a second mri was performed and revealed less than the first,, indicating that I have gone into remission or recovery, 7 months and I am still undiagnosed, untreated and still no further forward. Try not to worry to much you only have one single bright spot by the sounds of it and I had numerous and mine has almost disappeared, which can happen in many condition, including vascular, metabolic, and neurological conditions. You need to get your bp checked and request a 24 hour monitior like I did, they missed my hypertension completley and I was tachycardic several times. This may explain the micro vascular changes and the bright spot, however, im not a medical expert and could be wrong. It can be a very long and frustrating process, mine certainly has been, and I am fed up with it al too. Maybe somelese on here can help some more,, keep us dated on your progress x
