Baffled

I am normally a hot-natured person.  Always the one without a coat and the heat turned low.  Now I am just the opposite.  I can't get warm without taking a very hot bath or getting under an electric blanket!!   I also have severe (benign) palpations, fatique and mushy, pale colored stools.  I've had a normal thyroid blood test and I've had my gall bladder removed.  I am 61 years old and am tired of feeling so lousy!!  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Went to Dr. and had lab work. I had no symptoms at that time and everything was within "normal range".   Dr. couldn't explain my symptoms, but gave me a prescription for Bentyl to take as needed for my bowels.  Right now my PVC's and light-colored stools have gotten much better, but I'm still cold & fatigued.  I'm watching what I eat (no sweets, fats or MSG's) to see if this helps.   I had eaten candy and ate at a Chinese Restaurant just a few days before I had these symptoms.  Could this have caused my problem?

I had some dull discomfort in upper chest, then I had a large amount of mushy, light brown, bloody stool.  My severe palpatations calmed down and I have very few through - out the day that I can feel.  I still am fatigued and cold.  I had a normal colonoscopy about 5 weeks ago.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have yellowing of the whites of my eyes or brownish urine.  I do know I have slight fatty liver.  I have an appt. with my Doctor next week.  Hope to get some answers.  Thank You for your concerned comments.

I agree with medicmommy. The pale color stools are ALARMING! Could be an indication of a blockage like she said. Requires immediate attention. Get your liver checked asap!!!

Get your liver checked ASAP!!!! It sounds like your poor liver is stressed about something...Have yourself checked tomorrow AM! If this is a liver problem, and pale stools indicate there is no bilirubin being passed into your digestive tract (means something is wrong with the liver, pancreas, or the common bile duct)  you are only going to get sicker...Do you have any yellowing in the whites of your eyes? Do you know if you have liver cirrhosis?  Brownish urine?  See a Doc ASAP!
