Mysterious mark appeared on wrist two months ago and hasn't disappeared

My boyfriend noticed a bruise-like mark that had appeared on one of his wrists about two and a half months ago now, and although he said it didn't hurt we had just assumed maybe it was a bruise of some sort and maybe he had done it in his sleep or something. Well it is still there and it hasn't faded, changed texture, shape or anything. It is still exactly the same as it was two and a half months ago. It just appeared out of nowhere. He says it doesn't hurt at all, nor itch or anything else. It's just like an odd discolored patch of skin that appeared that looks like a bruise/burn mark that never hurt at any point. He unfortunately doesn't have insurance right now, but I was worried that this is something that might be more serious and needs to be looked at by a dermatologist. Here is a photo of the mark (if this link works...): http://i65.tinypic.com/14nlhzs.jpg

Hello~I wasn't able to view the picture. I really don't know what it could be, I would see a doctor however, your boyfriend may have a bleeding issue, this can sometimes cause bruises and should be looked into. I think it only involves a simple blood draw.
