Blisters on a bruise

My wife and I were involved in an ATV accident. She sustained a massive bruise on the inside of her thigh. Two days later, she noticed blisters on top of the worst part of the bruise. Should we be concerned??  Thanks

Again i have a biology background in University so i am used to these type of questions, bruises were obviously caused by the accident but the bruise could have been caused by contact with a very hot part on the ATV or rugrash.  If these blisters are filled with water, def came into contact with machine, if not just the worst part of bruise  is closest to the outermost epidermis (skin) def no reason for concern, hope u guys get  well and get back on that horse..lol..i mean ATV, gl

Yes, you should be concerned, since this could be a sign of a very serious infection.  Please see a doctor about it as soon as you can. - Blu
