Chronic right side abdomen/side/back pain

I hope you can help.

For the last few weeks I have had on going right side abdomen pain which is radiating to my side, back and also down to m groin.

Im a 23 year old female. I went up to m GP about a month ago and was prescribed many tabs including anti spasmic tabs, but they didn't seem to help.

I noticed that I was peeing a lot and sweating alot. A little over a week ago the pain became worse and I went to the A&E here I got blood and urine tests. The doc thought I may have a kidney stone so sent me for a CT scan.

The CT scan came back clear, but my WCC was high and also had blood and leck in my urine so was prescribed strong anti biotics. The symptoms are not so bad but the pain in my right side seems to not go away.

I have a horse shoe kidney and my left one tends to float. I was also born with a inperforated anus and had a few surgeries done.

I am now terrified that there is something seriously wrong with me. I hope to get back to the GP this week, but the unknown is killing me. I also suffer from GAD and insomnia.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

My daughter had a UTI that developed into a kidney infection and had persistent pain under her right ribs in addition to flank pain.  The doctors kept refusing to address the pain under the ribs until one compassionate soul told us it was likely referred pain, not uncommon under these circumstances..

When I was 20 yrs old. I was having the same pain. Even though I was pregnant at 19weeks. I went to the local ER. They mis diagnosed me with appendicitis.  So they did emergency surgery an took my appendix out. Which was perfectly normal. When they cut me open. I became septic due to the fact I had a really bad kidney infection with 9 kidney stones. That was mot traceable through a CT scan. I would call an Urologist an tell them ur symptop4 an ask if they can do a ultrasound on ur kidneys. Also get ur gall bladder checked!

My guess is a urinary and kidney infection. Did it burn when you urinated? Sometimes urinary tract infections are higher up.  Not sure why the pain in the side hasn't gone away. Where in the side is it located? Is it low in the belly near the bikini line or by the kidneys?
