Has the doctor drawn blood for chronic fatigue syndrome or mono, it is called the Epstein 'Barr test. Your symptoms match that of those two illnesses.
Yes, we seem to keep running into each other a lot. :-) Nice to meet you.
Hello again , Your symptoms looks like a medical syndrome named Pyrexia of unknown origin it may be because of subclinical infection , hidden allergy or aoutoimmunity
And foggy thanks for answering my questions !!!!!!!
Any infection or illness can make you feel fatigued. In addition being in on any antibiotic could make you feel fatigued as well. Constant tinnitus may impact your sleep habits thereby making you feel more fatigued.
Are you taking any probiotics while you're on the antibiotics? Examples of probiotics are yogurt with live cultures. Take a look at the label and make sure they have live cultures in it listed individually. Another example is something called Florastore. Probiotics are good bacteria when the antibiotics get rid of bad bacteria. Starting on probiotics may give you a little more energy. But start out slowly so that you do not get diarrhea or bloating.
Check on the liver function tests, and you'll have to wait for the biopsy results.
Oh I forgot... I don't recall whether or not they ran anything on my liver through the blood work. I'll check it out though.
Thyroid levels came back good. I had an abdominal ultrasound which also looked good. The biopsies were taken for both H pylori, and Celiac disease.... I'm still waiting for results. I had the fatigue prior to the Septra. This bilateral ear congestion (now with tinnitus) is making me crazy. Can ear problems make you really fatigued?
She stated in her post that her blood (chem) panel was normal.
She also stated that she is anxious about these symptoms.

Do you know if you MD who did the biopsy also is checking for H.pylori (an infection in the GI tract)?
Having an infection in your ear or sinuses will make you fatigued, and so will taking antibiotics. Antibiotics just start to work after 24 - 48 hours, so give it more time. However if you had the infection for a while, you may need to be on the antibiotics longer than usual to get rid of the infection (sometimes up to 3 weeks). If it doesn't go away, see an ENT MD.
Besides checking the chemistry panel (labs), did you MD also check for things related to your liver and kidneys as well as your thyroid? If not, you may want to ask him since you are still experiencing the extreme fatigue.
