For background, I do not have any diagnosed health issues aside from a strawberry allergy. I also have a healthy weight, blood pressure, etc. Aside from that, I've always had an issue with getting dizzy, shaky, weak, and having headaches when I don't eat certain things for a longer period of time. It's odd, sometimes I can go nearly a whole day without doing anything other than drinking water and feel fine and some days if I don't eat within a few hours I feel faint. So, I've always suspected that I've had some sort of blood sugar issues, but it's never been a big deal since I'm never without proper nutrition and carbs for long enough to actually show serious symptoms.
Anyways, the reason that I'm asking is that I had a bit of a scary incident this morning. Due to a bunch of overlapping things happening, I hadn't eaten or drank anything in almost 24hrs. But, I woke up feeling alright. I immediately went to hop into the shower like I normally do and the first ten minutes were as usual. About ten minutes in, though, I started to feel oddly weak, and my hands were shaking like leaves. Shortly after I noticed that, my vision started going dark and I was seeing stars, and that's the only way I could describe that. I've never passed out before. I moved to sit on the edge of the bathtub outside of the water and the shaking got worse. I felt nauseous and dizzy, almost falling out of the bathtub so I moved to lay in the bathtub. After a few minutes of being entirely sure that I was going to pass out, it went away. The shakiness and dizziness remained but the vision issue went away. So I quickly rinsed my hair and got out of the shower, went downstairs, and stuffed my face with granola bars lest it happen again while I was making food. After eating I was still shaking for a bit but it's gone down now. Any thoughts? Should I go to a doctor?
