Unexplainable rash.

I have an unexplainable rash on my leg next to my knee. It is round, red, bumpy, with white center. It is not itchy or painful and another one is now growing. It was said to be related to birth control or other medication and is being treated with steroid cream. What could this be?

it could be a chemical reaction from the birth controll or an infection. it could also be a side affect to the birth controll. ask your local pharmasist about the birth controll, your local nhs, your doctor or the internet could help by doing some research. you can even ask other doctors online about it. but some of them can cost a bit of money.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, birth control pills can cause non itchy rash. Otherwise it can be due to eczema, nummular eczema, tinea infection (fungal), pressure urticaria or due to insect bite as in Lyme’s. Please consult a skin specialist for confirmed diagnosis. Take care!
