Thank you all for your replies :)
I'm hanging onto candies in my purse (no grumbling here!!)
Frogmasta: I've done ECG's and always been clear. I've been given some Migrane meds (Zomig) any idea if thats a good substitute to Migrane shots?
OK WHAT EVER DOCTOR TOLD YOUR MOTHER THAT YOUR WERE LYING IS A *****! Now that that's cleared up, i think you might have cardiovascular problems. Although, this might not be the case. I too have migraines and have had this before. There is nothing you can do for them except take medication and try not to get stressed. When your headaches get really bad, you can go to your doctor's and get a migraine shot. This works imideatly and is very effective. Excersise and eating right will reduce your chances of heart problems, but you may want to talk to your doctor about the possibility of you even having heart problems.
So, from what I researched online, you have hypoglycemia with a level of 50 which it sounds like they recommend something sweet, but if it goes lower than 50, it can affect brain function and is considered a medical emergency. (See PM for more info.)
Probably won't hurt to get tested for some mosquito carried things then, since you were bit!
Thanks for your comment! Wasn't expecting to get one until a week later or so!
They took some blood tests and I've got an appointment tommorow but not sure I want to go incase the splurt some more things thats just going to annoy me and scare my mum.
As my parents both have diabetes and their parents before them we have a OneTouch machine at home and last I checked (which was a week or 2 back) it was normal. I've noticed that when I get my panic attacks, fatigue, etc my sugar level is low (Around 50). I don't usually shy away from sweets and I make sweets and cakes as a hobby.
I haven't got any results as of yet but I'm sure they didn't do any tests for infection.
More info: I was in Sri Lanka and Malaysia a few months back (Late Feb to early March) and the weather was unbearably humid as opposed to the Middle East where I reside. Obviously I was bitten my mosquitoes but I've been bitten before as well when I've visited Srilanka.
Sometimes doctors are rude individuals- but there are some nice, caring ones out there too. Since your problem intensifies with movement of your neck, and you have intense migraine with nausea, have they checked for spinal meningitis? Have they done an MRI of your cervical spine?
If you were dehydrated which can happen to many people so easily, the veins can be more difficult to get. Also, with your frequent thirst, have they checked your for diabetes? With your chest pains and headache, did they check your blood iron and ferritin (iron stores) to be sure iron deficiency was not contributing to your symptoms? Did they make sure you did not have any kind of infection?
What is your blood pressure like with the headache?
