What is this?

Ok I'm a 24 yr old male.  I'm a police officer so I do alot of driving.  For about the past three weeks I have noticed a weird sensation in my left leg around the calf.  I can see it twitching sometimes.  I have some pain but it's more when I concentrate on it.  I have had a tingling sensation in between big toe and 2nd toe on same foot. I was able to produce the same sensation in toes by pressing on tendon or muscle around ankle.  My question is is this a blood clot?  I do dip tobacco but am fairly active.  I have no noticeable swelling redness temp change.  No pain when walking.  I usually have the sensation when sitting.  I have high anxiety so of course I thought of worse situation.  Thk you

No swelling or redness.  Pain is not excruciating just annoying.  Get twitches in it as well

it could be a pinched nerve. iv had blood clots that have traveled to my lungs and it does kill. go to the doctor. the tingling could also be a sign of diabetes. is there any sweeling in your calves that is a sign of a blood clot.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This can either be a pinched nerve or it can be a blood clot. However since you also have a sensation in toe, it is more likely to be a pinched nerve. . For diagnosis first a duplex ultrasound or color dopplar would need to be done. If this is negative then a nerve conduction study and test for diabetes will be done. Take care!
