Extreme Dizzy Spells, or fainting?

Out of nowhere, I get this extreme dizzy (feel it in my head), and I feel like I need to get to the floor, or bed. I've never fallen on the floor, I just feel like I would stop panicking if I did.

I don't lose consciousness and it only lasts 2 seconds, 3 seconds top.

I have mild Aortic Stenosis and mild Aortic Regurgitation. I also have severe panic disorder.

I don't know when this started, but I always just thought it was a weird 'quirk' that I had.

My BP is managed(I just took it and it's 112/86), and I am on medication, so I am not sure if that makes me dizzy or not.

I do have sinus issues and  allergies all the time.

I will ask my doctor, but until then, anyone else have this?

Thanks!

PS: Clearly I am terrified. I didn't think much of this until my wife saw me have one these 'dizzy attacks'

Antihypertension meds can  cause dizziness, but in your case it could be a combination of contributing factors.
Cardiological issues, chronic sinuses & allergies and perhaps other undetermined imbalances could be responsible.
The diagnosis would be challenging to put it mildly.

For starters, I would try to lose weight-if you're overweight-which could lower or even eliminate the need for HBP meds. Reducing sodium, which you may be doing already and other diet modifications, may also make a difference.
Just do a search for this.

Also look into changing your HBP drug. Ask your doctor.
If on diuretics, they may be causing dehydration.
They could be also depleting your potassium and magnesium levels.
Keep a close eye on that.
Personally, irregardless, I would take supplemental magnesium- like L- threonate, which acts as tissue softener and also consume potassium-rich foods.

Finally look into histamine intolerance, which may be responsible for your sinuses, allergies and dizziness
problems.
And BTW, anti-histamines are NOT the solution!
Only if you have an important engagement the same day and you need fast histamine management!

If this is indeed the case, you may need Methylation or DAO supplements if you have an HNMT or DAO deficiency respectively.
A diet low in histamines and DAO blocking foods, would be also recommended.
Most conventional Doctors are not experienced in this field, so your best bet is to get educated as much as possible and consult a reputable Naturopathic or Functional Medicine Doctor to facilitate your recovery.

I hope this helps, however, please note that my comments are not intended to replace medical advice.

Best wishes,
Niko

Hello~I hope you are feeling better now, but if not, I would suggest seeing a chiropractor. You may very well have some misaligned vertebrae in your neck and upper back, thus causing the symptoms you are having. The chiropractor will take some x-rays, after reading the, he/she will be able to ascertain what areas need attention; after a few treatments, you should start to feel better.

I hope all went well at your doctor appointment. God bless.
