hiv testing and swollen lymph nodes
in july i had unprotected intercourse with a girl who i didn't know all that well, but she claims to have only had sex with one other person, this occrured in mid july, around the start of november i got 4-5 swollen lymph nodes in my neck area, and one up infront of my ear, i went to the doctor she wasn't concerned, i was worried about hiv though as these are symptoms so in mind feb. (7months after situation) i got a rapid hiv test and it came back negative, right before i got the test i got a really bad sore throat and went to the doctor and he wasn't worried then my lymph nodes went away when i got this sore throat, however 3 nodes on the other side of my neck inflammed during this illness, so in conclusion a few disappared, and a few just came about, do you think this is worriysome of hiv, i don't hve any other symptoms and the nodes dont' hurt, and really arent' that big the biggest one is about 1.5 cm at most, and the others are less than 1 cm, im just worried if there was a false negative or a screw up in testing, it wasn't at a clinc, it was at a one on one type of place, but it wasn't my doctor please help!!!! i have read some of your other posts but im hoping u could please answer my question
go and talk to your own doctor regarding this and ask to be tested again for verification.
