FRUSTRATED

I have had a fever and a headache every day for 3 weeks! I have a list of symptoms that includes: severe headache, stiff neck, vomiting, heat flashes, tingling in head, fever EVERY DAY, light sensitive, just dont feel good, and can't sleep at night...i just toss and turn all night long! I live in a village in remote Alaska and flew to Fairbanks to go to the ER. The ER did a spinal tap and ran all sorts of tests on my blood and urine. I also got a CT Scan and MRI which showed some swelling in sinus area. It all came back clean and the doctor diagnosed me with a "stiff neck"! I went to my primary doctor and the doctor said it was my sinuses and wasn't concerned that I had a fever everyday for 3 weeks. I am now back in my village without the resources to get better....I'M VERY FRUSTRATED....I just want to feel better and don't feel like the doctors looked at my overall symptoms...they just focused on one and diagnosed that. HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Show spinal tap report to your local doctor. If meningitis is ruled out, then it can be migraine. Try and consult a neurologist. PCOD and pelvic infection are the other possibilities. So consult your gynecologist too. Take care!
