General Health

On 3 occasions over the period of about 3 months I have had incidents where a large portion of my vision went white.  The first time it happened I bent over (inside) and when I raised up there was a white area. When this occurs it affects both eyes.  With the 2nd  time  was about 3 weeks ago, I was driving which caused me to pull over. The last was yesterday in a restaurant. With the 2nd & 3rd time there was bright sunlight and I may have caught a bright reflection. I am not quite sure what type of Dr. I should see. Each incident usually lasts about 15 min then goes away.  After the 2nd incident I went to the ER and had my vitals checked which were fine. Any Ideas?

I believe that you may have occular migraines? The white I think is what is called the aura. It not not have to be followed by a migraine. My dad gets these.I want to say he got thim from working on tiny objects WHILE wearing his glasses? I will ask him tomorrow. But if that IS what is happening, don't worry. I don't know what you can do for it, but at least you can look it up! I hope this helps!!!

Take care and good luck :)
