Period and Protonix

I have been using Protonix for almost a year now and it's worked great to help my Gastritis but I noticed something. Since taking it, my period comes later than it used to and for less time. I am a bit worried, is everything ok?

All acid blockers are short term drugs as stomach acid is essential to absorb nutrients to protecting you from bacterial, fungus and parasites. You will start to notice more and more adverse physical and mental issues the longer you are on acid blockers.

My mother had gastritis for 25 years/last 5 of those years in severe pain. She is 95% improved within a year of digestive enzymes containing proteases. To say enzymes are brillant is an understatement.  I highly recommend reading the article from Enzyme stuff - Enzymes & Digestive Disorders first.
