Hard lump behind ear

Hi everyone, I have a hard lump right behind the ear lobe. I'm wondering what it is. I think I've had it for about 3-4 years now but I'm not sure because I remember noticing it 3-4 years ago but I never payed attention to whether it went away or not but recently my parents pointed it out and it seems it's still there. Could it be some kind of cancer or dangerous at all? It doesn't hurt at all when I touch it, but if I touch it too much, later during the day I may sometimes get a very minor headache. I HAVE lost weight in the past 6 months but I think that's only because I've been doing cardio like crazy and eating in a caloric budget. So again, please any opinions/thoughts would be very appreciated. I'm really worried now. I have consulted a doctor and he didn't know so he said to see a specialist, but that's in 2 weeks, and I'd like to know what it could be beforehand.

Thanks in advance!

Xikro - I believe you should see a doctor, it could be a some type of scar if you've had your ears pierced. It could also be a swollen lymph node, a pimp, wart, tumor, or even a type of pimple caused by build up of oils.

But in any case if you're worried about it, go seek professional medical advice.

Best regards.
