Head Symptoms

Hi, everyone. I was wondering if you could shed some light on what's going on here.

Starting over a month ago, I started having ear pains (not earaches that last awhile, just ear pains). There was also one day where I felt "lopsided" for a few hours (when I walked, it felt like my weight was on my left side). It was only that one day.

I went to the doctor and told them about my ears and they didn't see any infection. Then the ear pains started causing general head pains and headaches. The ear pains and head pains continued for the next few weeks and are still going on.

Then, about 6 days ago, I started to get a pressing and sometimes tingling feeling in a small area of the right side of my head-- between my ear and my temple. This has since spread a little to the right edge of my right eye socket, where it tends to tingle, and it's spread upward a little and down into my right cheek.

A few days ago, I started to get some tingling on the left side of my face also (a little in my cheek and a little in my temple).

I still have the headaches and head pains, and ear pains.

Finally, if I exert myself or if I laugh alot, I'll get pain in the back left and back right of my head, right above where my head meets my neck. I also have some neck and shoulder pains.

Should these things be red flags? I'm trying to find some health insurance-- is it safe to hold out until then?

No, I haven't seen a dentist yet.

Also, could this potentially be caused by a TIA or a stroke? I've noticed that when I'm talking to someone, there will be times when I have to think for a second what word to say-- it doesn't usually happen to me, and it's never happened before. This started about 2 days ago. I also say some words wrong. It's really strange. I'm not thinking words wrong or typing wrong, just saying wrong.

However, I'm not having any trouble thinking, and the problem is not happening when I type (I'm typing fast, too). My movement is fine, too-- I haven't lost the use of any of my arms or legs, or any side of my body.

Have you seen a dentist to rule out impacted wisdom teeth?  Just a thought as it can cause pain throughout the ear and face. The funny thing being that the area in your mouth where the wisdom teeth are does not hurt.
