I am not sure what it could be that you have, but I can suggest that you have your doctor due a full and thorough blood tests. Since birth I have practically lived in hospitals. I was a very sick child. I was diagnosed with so many things, including IBS, Fibromyalgia, RA, epilepsy (turn out to be false), Leukemia (thank God false alarm), etc. My list is over 27 years so it is long. However, one doctor. One good doctor, took my entire history and saw them not as separate but as a whole and did tests. A bunch of them, that is how he found out that I had undiagnosed hypothyroid, addison and hashiomoto thryroidis. after many reading and research I have discovered that this tiny thyroid can cause havoc on the body and be responsible for many symptoms when not treated. So my only suggestion is have the doctor run tests, full and thorough, including white cell counts, FT3, FT4, vitamin deficiencies, etc. In this way, you can once and for all you can try to get the answer that you are seeking.
I wish you better health and good fortune on your journey to recovery.
I was going to say wow that sounds like me and a double wow because I have FMS, IBS, complicated migraines, Osteoarthritis, Chronic fatigue syndrome etc etc etc my list goes on. I wish I could help but I am in the same boat
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Since you have IBS, you must test for H pylori infection and gastric reflux. Both these conditions can cause abnormal taste and smell, facial flushing, dizziness etc. Also test for all female hormones. The symptoms can be due to menopause too. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
