My son used to get pain in his eyes and would see fuzzy when he ate cheese. He is lactose intolerant. He can drink raw milk, but tolerates only certain types of cheeses.
It sounds like an allergy, possibly including migraine. I get migraines if I eat gluten or nuts, while cheese causes different problems for me.
It does appear that your daughter has an allergic reaction to the cheese.
Do not give her any cheese to eat any more.
Does she get the same reaction to milk and yogurt?
Cheeses go through a different process to milk and yogurt.
The other possibility is because cheese contains a lot of fat, her body is not able to utilise this properly and her sugar levels are getting too high.
I am OK with most cheese, but I am allergic to goats cheese. It makes my lips and mouth tingle and numb.
I suggest you take your daughter to the doctor and explain what has been happening so that the doctor can make sure she is not diabetic or has any other problem other than having an allergic reaction to cheese.
Hope you get on OK
Best wishes.
She could be alergic to dairy? Not sure but id talk to her doc
