Mysterious bug under my skin, crawling on my scalp

This is my first post, I've been reading this forum for about a month now, reading about evetything from how to cure scabies to mites.

I'm 27 years old, live in Dallas Texas and here is my story...

First, we've always had a fly problem at every house we go to. You know, the little fruit fly looking things. However, we're not big fruit eaters and don't have any out. They seem to love the trash and the sink (different fly?).

Up to 6 months ago I felt like a bug was crawling on me when I sat on my couch and bed (different apartment), our first assumption was bed bugs and we treated the house (using bombs) for these, the crawling feeling slowed but never fully stopped.

We recently moved (2 months ago) and I felt the same thing on the couch and bed, even worse actually. So much so that we had to throw the couch out. The couch had a mattress in it, it ended up staying out back for a little while until one day I looked out there and it had little black bugs crawling all over it. During this time it seemed I ws being attacked at night by whatever this is, constant crawling all over my head. I usually stay up late to work (upwards of 5AM sometimes) and the entire time this crawling is going on. When I get in the bed it's even worse.

Now here we are at present day. Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also.

Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :(  Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.

I can feel them crawling under my skin, they hang out in my ear (not sure if under the skin or just in the canal) all day, it's gross. No one in the house (my wife and 3 kids) can feel them. My wife has bites all up and down her legs and even a protruded ring looking this on her forearm.

As you might have imagined I'm loosing my mind and life, nothing is the same. And now that the doctor says it's my imagination I cant even get my mom or wide (even though she has a lot of bites) to believe what I'm feeling is real. This makes everything 99.9% harder.

At first I thought it was bird mites (lots of trees around our apartment), then I thought scabies (becuase I can see tracks under my skin), and now I'm thinking it's some kind of fly. There are flys everwhere in this apartment. The disposal was broken when we moved in and it had  flies coming out, they are still around even today (and it's broken again). The bathroom has the flies, in fact, there are several dead in the tub.

I spray the tub down with bleach/water after getting out and noticed when I spray the faucet part some of it turns black (black mold?).

Could this be a bot fly? What do I need to do to get rid of it. Now that the dermatologist was no hope (second doc I've seen, first gave me Pemethrin which did not work) I was thinking of ordering some Stromectol / Ivermectin and Green Kleen Green online.

Recently I had jock itch for the first time in my life, had been taking Gris Peg (Griseofulvin) when this all started to intensify. Please if anyone has been through anything like this offer your sound advice.

I don't know the answer,but it matches my problems. I also have skin openings releasing granular skin pieces and hard sharp red or brown things. As long as I rub toilet paper over open areas it continues to release these things. Been to 3 doctors and 1 dermatologist with no result.

Good grief! My heart goes out to u bc I am living a very similar nightmare. It's been 10 years of itchiness and being told it's delusional parasitosis, my imagination, paranoia, allergies, yet I can't get a single physician to actually take a scraping of any kind and look at it under MAGNIFICATION. I have a jewelry loupe plus a bunch of other mid level mags plus the phone and I can see and even have on video these parasites on me and in my hair and in the toilet (sorry) and in my makeup even in the refrigerator. And it doesn't matter if I move. It's feels great at first but 2 mos later I'm back to itching and ripping my hair out now.
It started bc of the ears thing. Always crawling in my ears. So I began to trim my long blond hair shorter and shorter until I could not feel it tickling and stinging and biting and travelling across the back of my neck. I don't know the answer yet. I believe there is more than one type of parasite bothering me and 10 years of searching and also having seen GMO fruit flies  REPRODUCE IN MY SKIN AND MY FIANCES SKIN AND THEN 2X WE HAD TO SCRATCH AND LITERKY DID AND then this ball rolled down our skin and poof it turned into a fruit fly and flew away. I am NOT LYING OR EXAGGERATING. that's when HE began to believe they existed. We know fruit flies have been dna altered to reproduce a diff way and one is in human skin. My man used Windex and garlic pills I think but def grapeseed extract and his cleared up.ine never had. Theories: of course Lyme leading to morgellons, yeast or fungal overgrowth = difiarial ------ which looks like hair and moves. Fungus gnats. Lice. Crabs. Gnats. Ticks. Actual spiders. Any zoonotic disease I can share with the cat. Or a lake I seam in that wasn't exactly clean. So the whole amoeba family. Demodex mites. The list goes on and on. No one can cure me and I am almost bald. It has literally driven me to a place where I no longer think I can live this way. 10 years of itching and 10 years if people calling me crazy. And yes. My anust is itching right now and they are INSIDE MY EYES. WORMS AND LARVA. IN MY EYES GUMS LIPS THROAT.

I CAN SEE AND FEEL THEM. why can't anyone else???

Windex, vinegar, bleach, BORAX, epsome salts, Lysol sprayed directly into body, and DOLLAR TREE WRINKKE RELEASER OR FABRIC REFRESHER. it kills everything!!! Temporarily. But blessed relief just enough to take a sleeping pill n sleep so I don't rip my hair out all night long we him everyone else sleeps.
It's not u. It is in the furniture. Ur clothes. Ur skin. Ur bedding, toothbrush hairbrush towels omg it never ends ... I live on benadryl with Sudafed and Zyrtec to attempt to eliminate the itching. But it's temporary. Need a way to make this stop and there are so many of us why don't they FOCUS ON LYME AND MORGELLONS AND HELP US? at least with death the suffering ends. This suffering follows u forever as far as I can tell. Maybe only god can... Good luck and god bless you!

Finally got Some oust removed from Amazon used on my eyes cleared up the eyes got over me tin from feed store I finally started pulling them out got a magnifying glass I could see like little hook looking legs or something that's why they wouldn't come out they latch on its discusting!I even went to ER I told the Dr I had in a little plastic bag he wouldn't even look at them!

Exactly,   I had them in my scalp and for the longest  time couldn't figure out how I was reinfecting myself.. Then it dawned on me one day while I was looking at my hands and saw one under the skin. Washing my hair evidently kept transferring them back and forth..  My dermatologist gave me Ivermectin pills (two single doses 2 weeks apart) and Ivermectin cream. Now I use this hair washing like brush and don't use my hands, not taking any chances.

It’s not jock itch. It’s pubic lice. You can get it from trying on new clothes and/or having sex, infected bed linens and close contact with the infected person. You are not seeing things. Because pubic lice can burrow. Have you tried looking all this up online? It rilly helps. I read online that the pubic lice burrow under the skin to lay their eggs. But hey, if I was you I’d test it by trying the psychotrick. (Tell yourself, ok , if I see THIS then I’m psycho. If you see it within the next 24 hours, do it again. Don’t tell anyone anything, and don’t try to cut them out either, unless you want to die) try not eating meat, as they like it. Try lavender or otherwise herbal tea.
Smack them too. Tell them, mentaly they are not welcome here, in YOUR BODY it’s not theirs. Make it a hard to live in environment, DONT drink alcohol tho. They love alcohol.  Besides if you drink alcohol your human instinct will be overcome. If this is close contact bug, it will transfer if you have sex. DONT do that. Makes another life very bad. Anyways, you are NOT Crazy or anything. It is totally possible that these bugs are in you. Whatever you do , don’t go to a shrink. :)

     This is my first post ever, at any medical site, period, so here goes. My story started 6 months ago, and it's been a nightmare ever since. Multiple doctor's, so much money, and finally getting diagnosis of: Lyme's, fungus and parasites.  I've had every symptom listed here, and had a few doctors look at me like I'm  crazy when I told them I had bugs, worms and (* yes) maggots on me! It turns out that bugs thrive on fungus, and will even live/reproduce on your body if they can! (* Nightmare!!) And you won't find that in any text book description! The KEY to getting treatment, is finding a doctor who will listen and believe you. The mention of bugs, however, usually always will not work, because of the stigma of  'parapsychosis'. Keep the emphasis on the fungal infection, or the parasites. Usually, the parasites are one of many kinds of round, hook, flat, pin or thread worm. (* I had five different kinds, my lungs were full of them). Most of these worms larvas migration are just beneath the skin surface, and feels like bugs crawling. The fungus is on the surface of the skin, ( you can't see it,  tho) and burrows into, and grows, just beneath surface it's skin, also. It feels like pinpricks, burning, bug bites, and Ant bites. So, the sensation of bugs crawling is a Hallmark sign of worms and fungus. With fungal infection come the fungus mites, gnats, flies and their accompanying eggs, worms/maggots. (**They thrive on fungus) Lyme's disease will cause multiple parasites infections- including: scabies, worms, etc. Then, the fungus reproduces rapidly in your environment including your car, clothing etc (* it actually permeates everything in your home!)** This brings more bugs for the free meal, more flies- the problem then explodes exponentially! It is true a horror show once it gets to this point, very hard to get rid of. The fungus can ruin a life! The fungus can be several different ones, and can live on every surface, and the spores float thru the air. They have so many forms/appearance, depending upon what stage they are in,,white fluffy, translucent lint appearance, red, black or blue 'fiber'.. It can spread to your entire body and even go systemic. Your skin can grow mold ( black specs), or, glassine exothrax, (* hard splinters) or rigid scales can show up anywhere on body- looking like exoskeleton's of skin parasites. ** I got so sick I almost died as my lungs collapsed! At one point, I even had flies hatching out of my entire body! (** Lyme's organisms turn OFF these immune system, so they over-run the body, causing little  or no outward symptoms, while inside the body MUCH damage is being done. Lyme's organisms are very difficult to detect- as they hide in the body and are hard to diagnose. (** Sadly, my BFF just passed away from Lyme's, because it till then almost ten years to diagnose it!)
    Once the fungus infection goes systemic, you may find yourself fighting for your life, as I am.  Sorry long winded...I see so many ppl on here (* and every where) suffering and not getting the answers or treatment they so desperately need. Be proactive, do your research, insist on the tests you think you need,-- bypass those stupid doctors if you have to by using lab of your choice, bringing in your own specimens. The Lyme's test out there now are a shot in the dark! The Western blot test is a joke, there are newer, more sensitive tests out there now, where you can order your test kit on line, and go to lab of your choice. If you think you have Lyme's, (** Morgellen's) get tested for Lyme's and done believe them if they say you tested negative! (* That's how my friend died) you know your own body,- don't count on, or wait on the doctor's to figure out what's wrong with you and save you. You must save yourself! And above all- Don't give up and try to stay positive! (* I've only gone through this for six months, and wanted to be dead more times than I can count. I can't imagine going through this as long as many of you have.
    The scabies protocol and Morgellen's skin care protocol (* found on the Lyme's disease.org website) are the best ones- they will cover it all (* dont forget the tiny flies that infest a home with​ fungus- Google up Drain flies infestation. If you think you don't have them, (* microscopic/macroscopic) take a bright flashlight and go look at your drains, trashcans and even your car. Those little bastards can make your life a living hell as they can borrow into your skin and lay thousands of eggs everywhere, your bed and clothes and one day you'll wake up when tiny maggots all over you! They love fungus,- it's what they thrive on.
   Well, good luck, you can look all of this up. (* Some types of flies can get into your eyes or have their eggs weeping out of your eyes thru our lymph canals. (* Thru tear ducts. I've had worms crawling out of my eyes, this is no joke) and that was my snapping point. Fungus is serious stuff. You need to fight it for all you're worth, or it will over take your body and you can die. Look it up. Cancer, HIV and hepatitis patients that die from the complications of those disease, usually die from the resulting fungus infection.

PINE GLO 98¢ at Walmart is same exact thing as BenzaRid on Amazon (* fungicide used in hospital, etc) and Kleen Green naturally is the enzyme cleaner you want, as it is the original one, all natural, y can even Spritz your sheets and body with it,,,)concentrate,,- makes several gallons for 21$. Spray down everything, even your car, and just bleach down your drains and trashcans for the Flies. Read this. I personally believe you have MD which is proven to be related to lyme disease. The parasites you feel in your skin are basically the cousins of the parasites found in lyme disease patients.

I read up on something about mold toxicity. I had black mold at the beginning of 2017 and got rid of it mostly. Covered that was with new wall after killing the mold with bleach spray and putting plastic over it for two days. I had gotten kind sick for two weeks before I found out the place I bought had black mold under a wall.  Anyway. I felt better after. No crawling skin for months but it started up again recently in December 2017.so I'm not sure if what is happening to you might be in relation. But someone blogged about tiny spores  making you litterly feel like bugs are all over you and in you scalp and hair. I have felt a crawling under my scalp but thought it was muscles moving weird under my skin or nerves moving or twitching to make that feeling. It feels like after exercise or doing things like blood or muscles are moving. It's like some invisible fingers are pressing on you skin and rubbing acrossed an area. Very weird. But look into the black me theory. It may be worth looking into. Blessings

You're not crazy. I'm so f****** sick of people accusing me of being on drugs or delusional, im in tears writing this I'm losing hair I have sores on my head and body from scratching out of frustration I feel so alone, I don't see the point in living. I'm only 19, this is tearing my life apart.

R u doing ok? I truly know exactly how you feel. I lost my job, friends, even family turned. I have been laughed at talked about, accused of taking heavy drugs, and always, always referred to PHYCHIATRIST! 1 Dr. seemed to be believing and wanting to get to what is going on. I have a toxic mold and from my research, I think I have mold mites and Fungus gnats or mold flies?

I lived on a small lake in a small town. We had extra torrential rains, flooding and winds in 2015 to Spring off 2016. Homeowners insurance turned us down. They didn't even bother to come take a look until 2016 when we had some more flooding and wind damage .. FEMA came out wanted me to take an inventory in the affected areas and I was so sick, my brother was too. My dad is to old to be lifting all the watered down, bug filled boxes (not wet by that time).

Still to this day, no help, no reply from our appeal  I/we now have nothing,... We left or tossed it, my dad kept items but I won't go there! I only buy stuff I don't have a problem throwing away.

I am so concerned about my dogs...THE VETS TJINK IM CRAZY AS WELL!

I have searched everywhere for HELP to get the house now remideated as this mold likes me... I have tested positive for Chaetomium mold. Very toxic. I have lived with the Fungus, stomach problems (ya know), gerd, seizures, can't breathe, can't cook, can't wear makeup. Shaved my head, can't wear my wigs... It has now been well over a year and a half. There have been days I have been so down I truly thought I would be better off dead. I am so lonely at times, I sleep more than not.   Who wants to get out of bed..  My brother and dad both have symptoms, but they are men and they let me look like a cRaZy person.  Dad was hospitalized not long ago (seizures and/or a TIA. I had the exact same diagnosis last December). My brother had 1/2 his thyroid removed and is now a bad as I am if not worse. I read this Chaetomium Fungus/mold can be fatal. Some days...

This is very hard. Now that Harvey has done damage, I don't think I have any chance at all. That's, I might be able to help them.

Although I have been very I'll, diagnosed with Nuerological damage, Gastrological damage, heart problems, lung problems and man allergies are crazy. My mouth,nose, face,ears, throat, toes, eyes, scalp it all itches, my eyes water and I can feel something... don't say "bugs".  ....mites, mold whatever, it's there...

Is there any possibility you were exposed to toxic mold several months prior to the start of this problem? I know now that I brought this with me.... People say this and that but I have a lot of photos and videos that prove something is alive! This is just not right. The year 2017...

EPA Dallas... They don't take anything but Medicare. They are awesome. This Dr. KNOWS HIS STUFF and put me on a individualized care plan. Testing is extensive. I learned everything I know on my own. Maybe just to prove I am not cRaZy, on drugs or anything else but this will kill me one way or the other because I have had enough. I have felt so violated, tormented some days I feel tortured. I love God, He has my attention . Hopefully I can find a way to get my home fixed, REMEDIATED (it also tested positive for the Chaetomium). Some days I feel like I am not going to make it.  You have to wonder.

Hello, pjanna58, I am so sorry that you are going through this- I am praying for you. Have you heard of biocide laboratory? They have mold bombs that will kill three mold you spoke of. They worked very well in my home, and hear  only good things about them. They even have a remediation kits that are very affordable. Did the doctors prescription you antifungal meds? Also, natural Kleen green is o only 20$ on Amazon, it makes. 16 gallons to spray u your home. Or, I also use Mean Green Antibacterial formula, which had same active ingredients as BenzaRid- which is the industrial Antifungal that is used in hospital, schools, etc. It's 98¢ at Walmart. Wash everything in your home in sun detergent with oxyclean-, Borax and either chlorox or ammonia. Lysol one bomb you're car, cuz no doubt you've carried spores there, as well. To get over FUNGUS infection in body, you must take antifungal meds, change your diet and thoroughly clean and disinfect your environment- including car and pets, or you will always be reinfected. Every person in your home must do this as well. It can be done, just very hard. (** I went through all of this... Still trying to get it out of my home....) Prayers and love to you...

I definitely don't think you are crazy either. That is very worrisome. You just need one doctor to help you. Have you tried going to the ER? A dermatologist obviously can't help. What worries me is when it feels like something is crawling under the skin or scalp. I was itchy under my scalp for awhile after my brain surgery & awhile back, but not like bugs crawling. Dr's are not educated in this and cRaZy seems to be the diagnosis of choice!!!

I have the same thing.it flies burrows under my scalp, sores,pulling of my skin tight. White nits,black and white, knat looking bug. Doc says mental. I know im not. I think they dont want to treat anyone with a bug infestion. I have had this twice. Definetly a parasite.

I too am going through this, I am not positive of how/ where /exactly what but I will share a few of the many  things I've tried that absolutely help and even heal, #1 wash clothes w 3 tablespoons of pure peppermint essential oil, buy at least 16oz bottle on eBay, kleen green works bit much too temporary
#2 sulpher soap expensive and hard to find so i used my dogs antiseborric antiparasitic shampoo, this is absolutely a must I rinse it into my hair and scalp and leave it on, your hair will look cRaZy but the next morning wash rinse wash rinse using a small amount of conditioner in and out quickly do your day when at home put some more of the shampoo in and repeat daily bc it's also anti bacterial, antiviral and this is important Antifungal bc it has a fungal property to it dog shampoo is about 8 dollars for 16oz BEST thing ever
#3 Antifungal creams help but the powder really really dries out the buggy sores and stops itching,  
#4 Ecologic Bed Bug spray $10. At Home Depot it has lemongrass in it I spray it on bed sheets and pillows let dry sleep tight no bugs should bite
#4 Westpoint online carries the best and least expensive antimicrombial comforter by Izod beautiful and works $32.for a twin I recommend twin its easier to wash as needed
#5 Clara Clark sheets 1800tc on eBay by cozy array they're microfiber stay away from pure cotton unless it's older, or organic all others the cotton is GMO which means modification of germs, bugs and organisms spliced into the product, the will cause problems and are magnets to larvae etc,etc. Great pricing twin is $13- king under $30, these are truly the best, I threw out silk, and expensive cottons bc they hide in those fibers or just won't come clean
#6 stay calm, use bendryl if you need a calming agent and don't have another way Do Not forget to Pray, God will help you get through , even if it doesn't seem like it you'll look back and see,
By the time you buy every thing on this list you will have still not spent more than any quick fix kit, you will save thousands and yes I've spent thousands to find what works
#7 Use BORAX in every load, limit your laundry wash and wear nearly same thing regularly, do not share anything, get color coded towels for fam

   I noticed that this thread is old. I hope that you are okay. I've had what you have, and I nearly lost my mind and offed myself. Don't give up hope!! I posted am answer, is on page 42. It sounds like you have a fungal infection, with its accompanying bugs, mites flies and most probably tiny worm/maggots also. At one point, they were coming OUT of my eyes, when eggs flowing out of my tear ducts (** lymph canals) into my eyelids. I would frequently wake up when tiny baby flies just learning to fly, in my hair or eyelashes! Every few days, hundreds of tiny worms hatched  from my face and eyelids, and migrated into my eyeballs and scalp. I could not stop them, and I thought for sure I'd end up in a psych Ward! This is no joke. Go read my length post of my story. I'm almost completely healed now, (* sanity intact! ) Stay strong and don't give up. It will be a struggle to fight this, but so worth it. I've been dealing with this now for about a month thought I had lice because I was finding what looked like lice eggs and the lice never came......i started finding these fibers in my hair and my arms were always itchy so I looked closely and found the fibers on my skin.....i have what looks like tiny bumps with a little white head on it you pull it out and it's a fiber......i previously seen a post that said he tried alchol and peroxide.....i tried the peroxide and in the spot I tried I found them little string like fibers some even look like salt and pepper sometimes they are red or blue and I can see them under my skin started getting what looked like black beauty marks and low and behold was able yo almost peel them off......my hair is falling out finding hard black hairs that if you pull out the root is a sponge like grey bulb......i wiped my hands with my son's baby wipes and looked very close and pulled off these white fibers that moved......i know that all these posts from people that o have read are not crazy and it's weird because I thought that our carpet had these black bugs but could never get one......idk I'm losing my mind any ideas I'm open too

Wow!It truly does remind me of that episode!You definitely need a doctor to take you very seriously. I'd let them know that there has been a case out there where bugs have buried themselves under the skin. I wish I knew what would draw them out if there are any. I just know what happened on that episode of Untold Stories Of The ER. Don't give up on trying to get a doctor to listen to you!! If I come upon anything else, I'll let you know for sure. That's scary. I feel horrible for you.

This is a fungus. I don't​ have time to post complete experience and explain, more later, I promise. Get antifungal cremes/ sprays immediately, plus all the other advice on here is really good. (** They have discovered that Morgellen's is a fungus, among other things.) I'll try to post soon, (* this is my first time, and I notice this is a year old...)

I got on here to ask a question and saw your question. It really stood out to me! DO NOT go by one doctor!! I'm serious. The reason your post stood out to me is because I was watching "untold stories of the er" and they thought a lady was crazy at firs. However, come to find out she was not! She literally had bugs under her scalp! Look, I'm not trying to scare you. I just want to tell you to take it serious. Just in case. I'm not saying you have bugs under your skin, but I would not count it out either. Watch "Untold Stories of The ER" the episode is called, "Hidden Dangers"! Please don't think badly of me. What you said made me think of that episode. It freaked me out.

Again, I'm not trying to scare anyone. I'm not saying anyone has bugs under their skin either. I just wouldn't go with one doctor opinion or even two. I'd check with several. Then you can rule it out. You know your body. Have a relative or close friend check your scalp and other areas you can't see. Chances are that you probably don't have any but just be on the safe side.

You should research ringworm infection which is, contrary to popular belief, not a parasitic worm under your skin but a fungal infection that can spread to all areas of the body which depending on what area of the body is called something different. You mentioned you had a case of jock itch which is just another name for ringworm and you also mentioned your wife had a red circular Mark or "bite" protruding from her arm that is the classic tell tale symptom of ringworm. It can cause extreme itchiness,the infected areas can even be painful and sore, zit like bumps can pop up especially when it's spread to your scalp, etc. This fungi is extremely contagious because it continues to live as we shed our dead but still infected skin cells EVERYWHERE and it will take diligence to eradicate it completely from you your family and your home. There are great homeopathic remedies and treatments but if it's severe case you'll probably need to go and convince a doctor of you're self diagnosis  and get prescribed something to work internally as well as externally because it is a 2 sided process to fully being rid of it. Please research it more thoroughly and I hope you find relief!

Ok so I've been doing research on myself and ariund I think I know how to get rid if them! Ok so these bugs are leaving behind or should I say sone kind of hard crystal life pieces in the skin. I believable that's there to protect then from being killed or removed. This is what I saw happen to me this morning, I put on black head resolving cream from proactive all of a sudden in the first 5 min these crystals came out and then the black bugs. I'm not saying that the resolver killed them what I'm saying is that if you get the crystals gone it leaves them suceptuble to a toxic cream like scabes cream or something if that nature. I'm almost certain I'm right. Desolve cream whole body and then the pyrethrum. Maybe both a couple of times then bath , bomb the house and wash everything. I had much of the same symptoms start after going to a beautician one time. I thought it was just an irritated scalp at first from the chemicals but months later now it has not quit. I finally soaked with rid x for lice and bed bugs then lightly shook my head over a white carpet. A bug fell out dead and I got it on a piece of clear sticky tape to take to doctor (have not gotten results back). Tiny little brown thing and it has a long black tube coming out of its face or anus (not sure which end is which). . I think the microscopic larvae is what feeds on us and what we feel in nose, on scalp etc. The larger adults I believe leave us after laying eggs and why so hard to see and catch.

Pour a quarter cup of Borax in to hit water until mos if ut us desolved. After every shower pour it on scalp, face (avoid it getting inside the eyes), neck, back, and the privates too all the way down to the legs, between toes. Do this each time you shower.  Don't rinse it right away.  Wait a few minutes and repeat.  Mix a few drops of tea tree oil and lavender into a few tablespoons of almond essential oil and rub a thin layer on scalp, face, behind ears, inside ears (not too far in ear canal) and anywhere you feel crawling. It helos to buy shampoo and body wash with tea tree and lavender,  plus an essentisl oil followed by a wash with Borax rinse. Then rinse off Borax and apply essential oil with teatree and lavender mixed in on scalp and body.  Wash make up brushes,  hair brushes, tooth brushes with borax in water mixed with mild shampoo or dush washing liquid or buy new ones. Wash bed sheets, pillow cases, quilts and clothing with mild detergent and borax.  Eliminate harsh body soaps,  shampoos and use gentle soaps that do not irritate  the skin. The idea is t irradicate the crawling and itch without irritating skin more. The ancient people kbew the secrets if using oils to sooth skun while elminating microbial infestations.  This really works!
