Is it my appendix??

For about a day and a half I have been having a poking lower abdominal pains. It isn't really on one side specifically, to my knowledge. It keeps feeling like I have to go to the bathroom, even though I haven't drank that much water. It doesn't hurt when I press on it, I don't have a fever or throwing up, and I can stand up, drive and walk just fine. The other thing is (and please don't brush me off for it...) I am a serious hypochondriac. I am also terrified beyond belief about hospitals and doctors, so I really don't want to go unless I need to.

I was thinking at first it may be a kidney stone, but when you said you could sit up, stand, and drive okay, I don't believe that's the case since usually it hurts so excruciatingly that there is no comfortable position.  Right now I wouldn't worry about it, but If it gets worse or you start having other symptoms, I'd get it checked out

I agree, usually you have a fever but also the pain is on the lower right side and would be more severe than you describe. I wouldn't worry about this at this point. Sometimes you get nausea too. But the pain is higher.

No fever?  Probably not appendicitis.
