Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!
Let’s wait and watch and not jump to any conclusions. If the report is abnormal then a cardiologist will follow you up extensively. However let’s not worry unnecessarily. Take care!
Hi there..
I have done the Holter test, but it takes 3 weeks to process the results.
I think I got some heart palpitations after lunch while wearing the monitor
What happens when the results are abnormal?
Hi
You can read in detail about the holter test on net:
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Undiagnosed-Symptoms/Latest-ECG-Results-/show/1001954
If you are talking about a stress cardiac test then that would have been the termination point of your exercise. Whether it is good or bad depends on your underlying heart condition and the actual result of the test.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Is a peak heart rate of 174 beats per minute and a peak blood pressure of 190/90mm Hg good? I'm currently getting a Holter monitor in a couple of weeks time and what will that show?
Thanks
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum! Right bundle branch block and increased sinus rhythms are normal findings in some cases and is also found accidently in some cases. Generally it does not have a clinical significance. Please consult your cardiologist once.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
