Left Thumb Flexability

I play a lot of golf and am now experiecing the loss of flexability in the last joint of my left thumb, this thumb supports the golf club during the swing. Also, there was  slight tingling sensation above the elbow in the left arm, it has since subsided. What can be the cause of this loss of flexability and what can be done to help prevent it from reoccuring?

you could have tennis elbow,or you could have a pulled muscle, not sure how they treat tennis elbow but it similar to what you are describing, another reason for these feelings could be a trapped nerve,go to your docs to have it checked out

loss of flex-ability could be caused by a calcium deposit on the disk of the joint. u need a ex-ray to determine if that is the cause. The tingling sensation is a bit scary and could be related to a heart/stroke condition. See a doctor if it happens again....
