Feeling horrible with no answers!

I am 32 years old and have had SO MANY symptoms its unreal. I am sick and tired of being undiagnosed. First I would like to say that I have many metal fillings in my mouth. I have had anxiety in the past. I have been to a neurologist, cardiologist, chiropractor, and have had Ct scans, bloodwork, Mri's, EEG, etc etc etc and all they can come up with is sinus issues and possible hypoglycemia. Here is a long list of my symptoms please bare with me..
Brain fog, no concentration, dizzy and lightheaded, eye pressure and zaps, feel like I am in a movie starring into space, exhausted, pain all over, feel outside of my body like you can see me but nothimg, else, confusion, heart palpitations and a racy heart then slow heart rate at night feel short of breath but my pulse ox says it's a 99 or 98 percent. Headache and zaps in head. Difficult to swallow at times, anxiety and panic at times because I am so scared of what is wrong. I have been to ER many times and several doctors and NO answers. I am desperate for an answer and now I am experiencing anxiety from not knowing what is wrong. Sometimes a racy mind. Its very scary.I also have noticed that I have been feeling fear and more scared to be alone in a store thinking I will become to dizzy and fall. Also I feel like everything I look up tells me the worst possible scenario and it put a me into a panic. I am so sick of living this way and I am looking for any possible answer. I know it could be stress but never thought just stress could do this and cause so many symptoms . lastly I have a vitamin D deficiency.

I absolutely hate telling people it's just panic because I hate it when doctors say it to me, but you are definitely experiencing a lot of anxiety/panic symptoms which can even cause the brain fog and fatigue. The first thing I do after a panic attack is start yawning because your adrenaline crashes.

What really gives it away to be anxiety is when you say, "I'm scared to be alone in a store because I get dizzy and may fall." I have a severe anxiety disorder and have the same problem in stores to the point where I can no longer go. Now I'm not saying that you may not have a physical health issue also, but you are 100%  on your way to developing a vicious disorder if you don't treat it now. Those things you are scared to do will grow and grow to a big list until it takes your life completely over.

What you need is a benzo, ie. xanax, ativan, valium. (NOT AN SSRI to start.) From the first day's dose see how you feel and see if some of these symptoms vanish. If you notice drastic improvement in your symptoms then anxiety may very well be the cause. If you are having these symptoms due to other issues then the benzo will only calm you mentally, but it won't take the physical things away unless it is indeed anxiety.

Some people claim SSRIs do not cause withdrawal and all this, but it is a lie. SSRIs also kill serotonin receptors and cause brain damage so I absolutely cannot recommend unless you need it. They also do indeed cause dependency. If you do then do not stay on it longer than 18 months max. Benzos have a much higher safety index when taken as needed (that's why they can give benzos during surgery but usually have to stop ssris bc of the danger), but it is a drug you also do not want to take daily because they can also cause physical dependency in higher doses over time.

Hello~I am so sorry you are having all these horrible symptoms. I had many of them when I was in my late 20's, I saw a doctor that specializes in natural meds and tests, it turned out that mine was due to low blood sugar, multiple food allergies, weakened adrenalin glands and last but not least, my neck was out of alignment, so he recommended a good chiropractor, I went to him, and immediately, I started to feel better, you see, when vertebra are out of alignment, they press on other nerves and this can cause all kinds of nervous issues, and other problems. I would see a chiropractor, and also, a good naturpath that does acupuncture, I have had acupuncture, it is amazing. The naturopath will also prescribe a good vitamin/mineral regime for you. Between doing all this, you should start to feel better.

Oh, having many fillings in your mouth could also be causing some of the problem, they could be releasing some toxic material slowly into you blood stream, ask the doctor or naturopath, for a complete hair analysis, this will tell a complete story as to what is going on in your system.

first you have to get the panic down so you isolate a symptom vs. a psychological recation to your symptoms. I think people try to pigeon whole these disorders to quickly, there are more and more autoimmune diseases popping up every day that doc's can't recognize let alone diagnose. I'd ask your PCP about an anti anxiety medication to deal with the panic attack portion, then start a symptom diary, keep it up to date constantly and log all of your symptoms.

Trust your gut and be tenacious,if you know these issues aren't in your head than you have to keep pushing. You should also do some research because your physical issues do match some disorders like
polymyositis, the disorder can present differently from person to person.

Biggest thing if you want the doc's to believe you you have to stay calm and rational. I know how hard that can be I've been struggling for 3 years with Lupus type symptoms but all my tests come back clear. Their finally doing MRI's that show significant joint damage but still totally clear blood work.

hang in there and don't let it take you down.

BTW low vitamin D is common with a lot of these syndrome but they have no clue why.

Look into a condition called Nutcracker Syndrome (Left Renal Vein Compression). I have a friend that has it and it can cause every single problem that you have. Here's a list of problems it can cause from an article I found recently:

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Orthostatic Intolerance
Autonomic Dysfunction
Severe Gastrointestinal Symptoms
Tachycardia
Headaches
Migraines
Abdominal Pain
Nausea
Dizziness
Fainting
Unrefreshing Sleep
Muscle/Joint Pains
Sore Throat
Low-Grade Fever
Chills
Anxiety
Depression

A Vascular Surgeon or Interventional Radiologist would be the kind of doctor to see to get checked for this condition. Hope this might help as I know that most doctors don't even know what Nutcracker Syndrome is let alone the many problems it can cause.

have you had a full work up on your thyroid or been tested for Lymes Disease?

Your symptoms sound fairly typical of anxiety disorders and panic attacks.  You should think about seeing a psychiatrist or psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety.

This isn't to dismiss your symptoms or suggest that they are "all in your head."  Panic attacks and anxiety are very real physical symptoms, but they are triggered by signals sent by the brain, so they have to be treated psychologically.

It does not explain the brain fog and fatigue.
Both are symptoms of depression, which is not an uncommonly related.
