Trying to get to the bottom of internal vibrations/ internal shakiness

I’m a 58 year old woman. Post menopause. I’ve have health anxiety . I had about three months of extreme anxiety due to family/ daughter issue. It’s started in November and I decided in Janurary to take sertriline 25 mg to help with the overthinking. I took it for 2 weeks to January 20th and then stopped when I thought I was feeling better. Before starting the medicine I did notice an internal vibration in my upper back and kind of forgot about it. Well 4 weeks later I noticed internal vibration again and I started to get really scared about it and having a lot of anxiety. A week later I started having internal shakes when I did things around the house and at work.(I’m a mail carrier)  Especially when I reached up for a while or leaned over or cleaned. I noticed it lying in bed and it makes it very hard to sleep. I started taking sertriline 25 mg again 2 weeks ago because I thought the shakiness was due to anxiety but I think that the internal tremor feeling is making me anxious. I recently noticed when I was sitting down and bent head down to write and I realized I felt the vibration more and go into my groin. I have noticed now and then a buzzing in my left foot and a intermittent short buzz in my right arm. Those come and go. Twitches here and there.  I googled about how I feel it when I bend my neck and it said something about Lhermitte sign. So I was scared about it being MS. In my 30’s I was having some weird symptoms similar and I had a mri brain scan that came back normal. It got better and I now am having similar symptoms but the internal tremors are what is different. I had some blood work done and I am low in vitamin d 24L. High cholesterol 259 and LDL cholesterol 171. Non HdL 190.
Possible hypothyroidism but my dr is still not sure about that. I’m doing hormone testing and neuro testing( both urine) but won’t know results for about 3 weeks.

I had many weird symptoms for 12 years and went gluten free and starting feeling better dramatically quick, apparently I’m celiac or have non celiac gluten sensitivity. This may or may not be causing your symptoms. It worked for me so I’m just trying to spread the word. I had tons of anxiety and around day 10 it lifted. Bloat, pain, inflammation gone! Nerve tingling getting better. Skin improving. If you have a sensitivity wheat can mess you up in many ways. I guess that goes for all food intolerances.

No matter whether you have a physical cause of the vibration or it's the offshoot of your anxiety, it doesn't sound like you are taking sertraline the way it's supposed to be taken. I believe a person has to build up slowly (for like six weeks) before it is considered to reach its intended effect, and if you want to stop taking it you are also supposed to taper off for as long. It doesn't sound like it actually did much for you the way you took it, except give you a break from feeling anxious because you were taking *something.*

I'd definitely continue to try to find out what is causing the physical stuff, but I would also commit to taking the Zoloft if you are having problems with anxiety, and take it long-term for a year or so and see what it does for you. If you just can't stand the idea of committing to an SSRI for that long, try taking just Advil (one in the morning and one at night) for three weeks, and see if it has any effect. It can have a surprising effect on depression as well as physical issues.

Thank you for your comment. The physical shaking is what I feel is causing all my anxiety.
Since anxiety makes everything worse, I would address both issues.

Also forgot to add that I felt shaky when I would walk down a hill. Can feel vibration into legs some. I don’t feel weak when I run or do squats.  I able to be physical. Feels more like when I am only doing certain things.
