Hi - if he keeps getting lymph node flares and recurrent infections/tonsillitis - get him some plant-sourced Vitamin D - its like a magic bullet for immune/auto immune issues and clearly his immune system is struggling.  If his ANA blood tests are raised, without tonsilitis being present, then the sore throat and lymph nodes will be auto-immune related and possibly due to chronic fatigue.  If you give him eggs for breakfast every day they contain almost half his needed vitamin D so he doesn't have to tackle swallowing any tablets - get him outside with his arms and face uncovered for 30 mins a day to get a dose of Vit D from sunlight too.  You should see an improvement in lymph node flares within 2 weeks and can probably avoid him having to be medicated.
