Mass in abdomen, burning stool, etc.

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me????

I took clarithromycin for pneumonia back in May, and within a few days I was experiencing acidic, watery bowel movements that would make the entire anal area itch terribly the rest of the day. After the antibiotics were done, I took probiotics and such. The concern was clostridium difficile colitis, of course.

Weeks after I was off the antibiotics, I had pain in my chest area. It was different than the pain I'd had there with pneumonia, and in fact quite similar to gallbladder attacks I've had in the past. I discovered that I could palpate a mass under my right rib, and assumed it was an enlarged liver. Within the next few days I was nearly having mild gallbladder attacks, and so I did a liver cleanse and passed a bunch of gallstones, one being the size of two thumbnails in length and more than one in width.

The palpable mass changed a bit. Eventually it was like a hard, long, sausage-shaped mass running diagonally on my right side, from the rib to the lower colon. I could feel it more clearly at some times than other times. It's not usually painful, but sometimes when I palpate it, it's a bit painful, and sometimes I have abdominal pains. I woke up every morning for a while, a few weeks back, with sharp abdominal pains, bloating, and feeling awful.

Currently I'm not having so many problems with the abdominal mass and pain, but more the acidic BM's/rectal-anal itching. It is torturous! Scratching makes it worse, and showering doesn't help.

My diet tends to be on the healthy side, and I drink plenty of water (perhaps too much sometimes). Oh, the doctor ran blood tests that came back normal. My temperatures are always low nowadays, having led us to suspect hypothyroidism, but not every symptom matches and the two tests were normal. I have sensitivity to dairy and try to avoid it as much as possible, but those days I woke up with the bloating, cramping, and pain were days after I'd had no dairy, even tho' it was the same symptom as when I've had too much dairy.

I'm finding out on the internet that others have experienced what I have, but there are so many possibilities and none totally match. All I know for sure is that I have a history of gallstone issues. Oh, and I'm 5' 7.5" and weigh 118 lb. Never been one of those super strong, healthy people, but for the most part I've been healthy enough.

I definitely had a bronchitis cough in the beginning, and the bronchitis was viral. But then the doctor said it turned into bacterial pneumonia.

My temp goes down to 95.4 F for sure.

maybe you were misdiagnosed Pneumonia wasn't the origin of the problem it might have been viral which is giving you mild hypothermia now.  how low does the temperature go ?
