Most of my lymph nodes are swollen

I've had problems with my nodes since a kid. Been to a Dr. many many years ago who put me on antibotics and said I was fine as most cancers from nodes are painless. Well recently all of my nodes on both sides of my neck have been acting up. Can get very painful at times. Both of my shoulder nodes also act up. The ones behind my ears are acting up but mostly on my left side. I do not have nor can I afford insurance so I'm worried that I could have something serious going on and cant find out what it is. I dont have any other symptoms other then tiredness. I do have sinus problems but dont think that would cause all of my nodes to act up or could it? I take tyenol and other pain killers and it doesnt help the pain at all. Any advise?

I was thinking its my sinuses. Always had problems with them. There is an update though. Tonight after I took a shower I noticed I have red spots on my neck where my nodes are. Almost like a rash on both sides. Doesnt this mean its serious?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Lymph nodes in the neck area could be due to sinusitis, pyorrhea, dental caries, internal ear infections, and dandruff in your head or even from cancers. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. Chronic sinusitis can also cause a feeling of tiredness.
Please discuss this with your doctor.  I am sorry to say but you must at least consult your PCP once because treatment is impossible without diagnosis.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
