Mysterious insect bites for months

I have had bites on my thighs and my ankle but I am not sure what from. I left it thinking it would get better but it is always really really itching and red around the bite. I am really not sure what it is as I live in England. It bites just came over night and so I cleaned out my bed and got no more bites. .?? But what is it I am not sure how to treat it. I mean is it bed mites or a spider bite? If anyone can help or know what to do it would be great thank you!? I have had the bites for about a month now.

Thank you all for your help I will hopefully try and see a doctor. Do any of you think the bite or MRSA can be threatening or dangerous if I do not see a doctor soon as it is holiday time.???

It might be some insects biting you in your sleep, e.g. spiders, bed bugs, etc.
What concerns me is when you said, "I have had the bites for about a month now." This makes me wonder whether if it's insect bites. I would definitely consult a doctor.

" I have had the bites for about a month now. "

Just based on that information alone I would go see a doctor about it. Bites that haven't cleared up in a month may not be bites.

How many are there and what size in diameter are they? Are they getting bigger and is there any discharge? A lot of people mistake skin infections like MRSA for bug bites. So, go see a doctor who can see the bites and determine what course of action is necessary for you.

Merry Christmas
