Nausea and Unknown sickness...

Hi I'm a 17 year old female. I have had a sore throat that seemed like strep. but then I've been having all these other symptoms. Dizziness ( I almost blacked out), exhaustion ( I slept 11 hours but still have been tierd all day), headache(pressure/fullness), weird heart fluttering a couple times today and decreased appetite. Usually I eat snacks throughout the day and today I only ate because my mom made me. I'm not hungry at all....I'm not sure what it could be. And then trying to sleep at night I feel nauseous and like i'm going to throw up.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If pregnancy is a possibility, then this should be ruled out first with a home pregnancy test. Other possibility is severe acidity, pancreatitis, liver infection, IBS, etc.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!

As reading your question I have a theories. But I'd go to a doctor for sure.
First thought is, you're not sexually active are you? Because pregnancy can causse dizziness, sore throat sometimes, and tiredness.

Like the other two people said it could be depression, or mono. It could possibly be just a viral infection. The best suggestion I have is if you're really feeling bad enough to go to the hospital.

I'm sorry you've been feeling so sick.

Do you have any fever?  Have you been to the doctor and if so, what tests have they run?
How long has this been going on?

One thing that I'm thinking MIGHT be a possibility is mono.  A lot of your symptoms fit.

the dizziness and heart fluttering could be a sign of dehydration, even slight, especially since you say you haven't been eating much.  Have you been drinking enough fluids?  Even if you don't feel like eating food, try to push the fluids so you doin't get dehydrated - tea, juice, water, gatorade, popsicles, etc., are all good.  If you drink tea, try to drink decaffeinated because caffeine can make it easier for you to dehydrate (because it's a stimulant) and it could also add to the fluttering you're feeling in your chest.

If it has been more than a few days (3-5) that you've been feeling this way, I would suggest that you talk to your parent/s and ask them to take you to the doctor to get things checked out.

Feel better soon!
