Night sweats, sudden weight gain and rise in pulse

Hi there
I currently have an ear infection and am on antibiotics(day 7 of a 10 day course) no fever with it just pain. But for the past two nights I have woken up completely drenched in sweat, I have had to change my clothes. Also I went from 131 to 134.8 in one night and the weight has not dropped. Which is very unusual for me. Lastly my pulse normally ranges in the 50's and was rarely in the 60's before. For the past three nights it has been 65, 65 and 65 again. Also not normal for me. I have had an anixety disorder for 20 years and know that this is not part of that at all. I also looked up side effects of the antibiotic Suprax and it doesnt list weight gain, or night sweats. I had a hysterectomy 1.5 years ago but kept both of my ovaries.
Any ideas?????

I would recommend getting labs done.  i.e. cbc, cmp, thyroid panel and a female hormone panel.  I can't say all your symptoms are related to this ear infection; the weight gain is definitely not.

I understand you have both your ovaries still, but this doesn't garantee you will not have issues with hormonal imbalances.

What antibiotic are you taking?   Taking or taken any steroids for the ear infection?
