Numbness, Tingling, and Cold

Earlier tonight, I started feeling quite lightheaded after some moderate physical activity. Gradually, this turned into a heavy feeling, coupled with deeper, more frequent breathing, as if I were running. Eventually, I decided to lie down. Once I did, my fingers and feet started tingling and going numb. This crept up through my arms and legs, reaching my torso. At that point, my legs started to go cold. I got a cover, but it didn't help much. I also became clammy, and my boyfriend said my face became pale. That's when I started feeling numbness around the edges of my face and on parts of my scalp. It never progressed past this point, and seems to have reversed. However, there was a period of about 20 minutes where I was doing better, but kind of stuck with what felt like poor circulation. My hands and feet were still kind of numb, and started to ache a little as if blood flow had been restricted. Now, I feel more or less normal, but my muscles are twitching and spasming in random places, especially in my feet and legs, my legs also every once in a while start to go cold again, my thumbs still feel a little numb, and there's an ache down the outside of my left calf that comes and goes.

I took a supplement that I've never taken before today, but none of the ingredients are anything that I should be having a reaction to. This happened immediately after sex about 9 hours ago.

Thank you for your response. I have an appointment to see a doctor in the next few days, so we will figure out what is going on soon. I've been staying away from all the things that might have caused this episode and so far am remaining normal. If I have another one, though, I will take your advice.

Thanks again for responding :)

Sounds like a heart related problem.  When you feel faint and sweaty and your heart is beating heavy like that don't lay down flat!!   Lay on your left side and call an ambulance!
The paramedics can give you nitro and check your vitals and you don't have to go to the hospital if you don't want to.
However, you really should make an appointment to see a cardiologist asap.
Women don't get the same symptoms as men do when having a heart attack!!
You could have passed an eddie and had a TIA.  (small stroke).

Anyway, please take care of yourself and see a cardio ASAP
