MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms of blocked nose, blood from nose (coming from one nostril) can be due to a foreign body, nasal polyps, bleeding hemangiomas (localized collection of blood vessels), habit of picking at the nose, a tumor or inflammation due to say a nose ring.
If there is a cough also then there is a chance of infection and sinusitis too. Please consult an ENT specialist.
What is important is to find the cause of nose bleed—infection, trauma, rhinitis, using blood thinning medications, high blood pressure, bleeding disorders, polyps and growths in nasal cavity. Yes, bleeding from the posterior nares into the mouth cavity can cause a gag reflex and a vomit. The taste of blood stays in the mouth for a long time. Gargle with normal water and clean your mouth well by brushing and using a tongue cleaner. Next time you bleed-pinch the bride of nose, apply ice packs and keep the head above the level of heart by remaining seated.
Please inform your parents and do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

you should really see a doctor or go to your school nurse to talk about how you feel. You may think that your cold is better but you still can have some time of infection. You really need to have this checked.
