Restless Leg/Leg Nerves/ Neuro, maybe?

I'm 23 and 3b months postpartum with my first son. I am still bleeding from childbirth and have gotten the Depo shot about a month ago to try to stop the bleeding. I also have a non-hormonal  IUD for birth control. The shot gave me symptoms of ppd so I'm not to take it again for the bleeding.

Anyway, my problem is that the last few nights, my legs will jerk involuntary, like I'm running but I'm laying down. I can feel when it's about to happen, but I can only describe it as feeling like a wind-up toy. Another problem is that my legs will all of a sudden start feeling weak (when I'm awake) and it feels like they are about to stop working. This happens almost all the time, especially when I'm holding my son.
Lastly, I can be sitting down and they start to tingle, not like they're asleep, but more of a nerve tingle. It doesn't hurt per se, but it is uncomfortable.

Does this sound like something to be concerned about? What could it be?

Hi i am 2 months post partum after going for my 6 week check up i decided to get the mirena iud since getting it i have been having a lot of nerve issues i get the same feeling of  tingling in my head legs and i am also having loss of strength in my left arm and a lot of nerve issues i called a doctor and explained my symptoms and sent an ambulance to my home cause he thought i was having a stroke. I have been to the doctors several times they did blood work and everything comes back ok. My doctor just said it could be nerves and my body adjusting after having a baby abd adjusting to the iud.

It could be your nerves. I would mention this to your doc becaue you could possiby have some nerve damage or a reaction to the medicine.

I know what you are going through, my legs do the same thing. Go talk to your doctor about RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome). That could be what you are dealing with but that is just my opinion.
