Throbbing in lower ribcage

While at work I noticed that on the lower right side of my ribcage (just below the soloplex) was throbbing. There is no pain involved, its just unsettling because i don't know what it is. When i put my hand there i can actually feel it bump up and down. This has been happening for about the past 4 hours and it won't stop no matter what i do. I'm a 19yo male and I've never had any serious medical problems. Any help/suggestions?
(if need be i can describe in more detail the exact area/feeling)

There is a very large artery located in that area.  From time to time people will get an aneurism in that artery.  You are only feeling the pulse - perhaps due to a little hypertension. (high blood pressure).  Reduce your salt intake and don't drink too many sodas.  That should help.  If it continues to bother you make an appt. with a doctor - but because of your age, I doubt that this is serious.

Thank you, I live alone though so family won't play a part here. I don't have any medical insurance and idk if these clinics would charge me. I'm not broke, i just don't want to end up with a 300$ fee just for looking at my abdomen. I could use that money for rent anyway. But I've tried looking for similar posts with like symptoms but most involve pain.

I am not a doctor, but it sounds like you are describing some kind of pulse from a blood vessel.  Do you have access to a clinic at one of those drugstores, like CVS?  I have no real clue, but think it would help if someone could check it.  Do you live with family?  If so, I would let them know and hopefully together you guys can get a professional to see you.  Good luck
