Sexual Health

Is it normal to have excessive wetness during sex? I used to be so dry, now that I'm in my 40's, I have this excessive wetness, not sure if it's normal.

Excessive wetness can be caused an increase in estrogen. I get it during certain times in my cycle. Some women get relief from progesterone.  Hormonal imbalances can happen during peri-menopause at your age. If it affects your sex life and feeling, then it's worth getting it treated. There are some natural progesterone creams on the market, but it's a personal choice to take hormones as they can have long term side effects like cancer.

It's fine.  Just use a towel under you.  If it goes away as you get older, try using aloe vera for lubrication.

Dryness when you were younger could have been yeast imbalance or use of antihistamines or antidepressants.

i have read somewhere that it might be caused from excessive multiplication of the cells in the cervix i personally don't think it's carcinogenic but you should see a Dr
